With its 1,3 square kilometre surface area the Titisee is one of the most famous holiday destinations in Europe. You can take a walk all around or choose a boat trip on the water, but most definitely it is a perfect place to swim and have a picnic.
Schluchsee
Also a 10 minute distance from the house
With a 5,14 kilometre surface area, this reservoir is much bigger than the Titisee and the perfect place to go for all kinds of water sport like sailing, windsurfing, diving.... it is your choice.
Feldberg
A 10 minutes distance from Villa Roman
This is the name of the region itself, of the spa town and also the highest mountain, the Feldberg with its 1493 m.
The hiking area promises breathtaking panorama’s. You will also find here the start point for many important cross country cycling and skiing routes. The ski area is highly recommended with 55 km ski runs.
Freiburg
Also highly recommended and only half an hour drive away from Villa Roman is Freiburg. Bursting with flair and culture, Freiburg invites you to explore its old town centre or have a good day shopping.
Todtnau
